Keira Knightley

Born in London to actors Will Knightley and Sharman Macdonald, Knightley obtained an agent aged six. Initially, she performed in commercials and TV films. In 1999, she played Sabe for the role of Sabe Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. Her breakthrough came as a tomboy footballer in the sports film Bend It Like Beckham (2002) in which she later achieved worldwide fame as Elizabeth Swann in the swashbuckler fantasy show Pirates of the Caribbean, from 2003. Also, she was a socialite titled Georgiana as part of The Duchess. In modern dramas, she portrayed an ambitious music student for Begin Again (2012) and the role of a Doctor on the set of Jack Ryan Shadow Recruit (2013).
