Anna Maria Chlumsky is an American actress. She started acting when she was young and became famous for her role as Vada Sultenfuss, the character from the film My Girl and its sequel My Girl 2. Following her initial roles in the film, she paused between 1999 and 2005 to attend college. Anna Chlumsky was born on December 3 1980 in Chicago Illinois to Nancy and Frank Chlumsky Jr. Her mother was previously employed as a Flight Attendant, and her father, a chef. Both parents are gifted musicians, while their mother sings and actress. Her father is a saxophonist. At the age of 10 months old, the Marshall Fields hired her as a model for children for their ads. She was raised by her mother who was a single parent after her parents separated when she was just two. The year 2010 was the first time she was featured in advertisements for Marshall Fields as a young child model. When she was only two the parents split and she was taken care of by her mother alone.
