Additionally, she has been awarded 8 PMPC Star Awards nominations and two Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a number of TV programs, including Hiram, Maging Sino Dyosa and Green Rose. In 2014, she played the iconic Komiks characters Dyesebel in the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel. In addition, she was a presenter on the popular noontime variety show It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith an Australian lawyer. Her father was wed to Ojales before 1982. Jasmine, her younger sister is also an actress. Clare was a mother-in-law in their father's family. Her death was at only four months old in 2007.
